I could go on and on and on...adding one more beautiful fractal after another.  Each one as different as the person who created it.

We have such a rich and diverse Fractal Community,  that is rapidly becoming a culture.

If you have  thought about creating fractals is a great time to learn!

To start your journey, just click on any of these beauties will most likely find someone eager and willing
to help you get started.

Lastly,  I would like to thank our Community Volunteer...:icontatasz:  for organizing :iconprojecteducate:  Fractal Week.
We could not have done this without her!

OH! What a "politically incorrect" thing this is. No qualifier like "a sample"; "a small selection"; IMHO... So what is everyone else? Chopped Liver?!!  I have no problems with the artist's works featured but it hardly covers the pool of talent & vision here on dA or even the artists I watch. :( ;) :?

Wow....I feel sufficiently chastised was never my intention to be politically incorrect about anyone or anything to do with fractal art.  If you read to the bottom I  said I could go "on and on and on" because there are so many fantastic artists.  Which person should I have stopped at?  Who should I have left out?  Who did I forget.?   I tried to show a cross-section of the many talented artists we have in the fractal community.....if you know anything about me at all....I have never played a favorites game.   I am sorry, very sorry....that you have been upset by my article.  I do not see ANY artist....even  the most new of them as "chopped liver".  Every artist is in a different area of experience and talent.  I am very sorry that I somehow missed people you are fond of.   I missed putting in some people that "I" love.  I think there were probably some hurt feelings there when it was published...but no one has mentioned it to me until now.

I am so sorry you have taken offense at this one journal....I have written 2 others for the group :iconprojecteducate:   it was a privilege and pleasure for me to represent the
fractal community three different times.  If you noticed....YOU are mentioned in the one about  Creating Beautiful Fractal Images,  Lia.

I know my journals were a bit subjective in the sense that my eye sees things a certain way....while another person's eye is different in what it looks for.

To cover every single fractal artist would take a year.   I am just so sorry that what I meant for good  (bringing the fractal community to a larger audience than would normally see them).....has turned into some weird popularity contest.  Several people I love  as artists and respect as fellow fractalists left the group I oversee....while some removed their beautiful works....with no explanation.  I can only guess.....but it could have to do with this journal..   I hate hurting people....I hate being the cause of a hurt.  I also hate feeling hurt for doing something that was actually supposed to be a good thing.  And in that Lia....I am sorry that you seem hurt for yourself or maybe just for your friends that didn't get a mention.  Either way...I am sorry.   And I really don't know how to change is here.

Creating a Beautiful Fractal ImageThere are so many beautiful fractal images in the art world...
...and the ones here at Deviant Art are no exception!  The images are as diverse as each person who creates it.  I am a lay-person on the subject when it comes to explaining the art itself.   Simply put...fractals are based on Mathematical Equations.  The how and the why of this explanation still eludes me, but the beauty of the images keep my creating them.  For information about the underlying mathematics check this Wikipedia link
This journal will look at the elements that go into creating a beautiful Fractal Image, rather then the complexity of the base mathematics.

I did not come to these thoughts about the "Perfe
Fractal Tutorials and the Heroes Who Made Them...I have been creating Fractals using fractal/flame software for about 2 years now, and have been so grateful for the makers of the Tutorials we learn from.  In a previous journal we looked at different soft wares that are available to use...most of them FREE.

Today we look at a some of the wonderful  Tutorials created by people here in Deviant Art.  Without their excellent guidance...some of us would still bee stumbling around in the dark trying to figure things out.  If YOU have ever been interested in making fractal images...this journal is for you!
Tutorials by the fractal artist  TsukinoHikari20  :icontsukinohikari20: are some of the first I personally began to experiment with.

:iconflowerthnxplz: Please accept my apology I didn't read further after enjoying the pictures  No hurt feelings on my part, so perish the thought. :)

Thanks Lia....I feel a bit better now.  You yourself really ARE a fantastic fractal artist and are years ahead of me in technique and experience.  Your work always strikes me as being very elegant.....:star:
